8am....

And my boys are still asleep!!!! Ahhhhhh.the sound of silence. Havent heard that in a long time!!! Of course Trenton didnt sleep very well last night. Tossing and turning and crying....although Carter slept like a log. They were both asleep by 9pm.
It is soooo cold here in NY. Actually as I see, most parts of the U.S. is freezing!!!! Our pipes froze sat night and we just got them unthawed last night about 6ish. My dad brought his kerosene heater over and then he insulated the cracks in our foundation. Thanks Dad, luv ya!
Homeschooling is going along rather smoothly. I found most of his favorites are singing and dancing, pretend play, fine motor and he LOVES to cook and bake. We have been doing all sorts of stuff. What he dont like is reading, writing and anything to do with launguage....go figure. If I sit down with him to read a book, he gets mad and throws it. Ive decided I am not going to push it, maby try it a few times a week. If I push it to much, he may not ever like it. SOOOOO.....we do other things to learn. ANYWAYS.I did get ahold of the school about Trentons speech. They are sending me a list of people in the county who are allowed to test him. I pick one, he gets tested. Then therepy starts..if he needs it. He is also gettin evaluated for other stuff such as autism and adhd...stuff like that. But I tend to not pay attention to what they say about that. I know how the state and county like to "label" kids and Ill be damned if they will label mine. But I do need help getting him to talk. I wont push it, if he has trouble with the therepist or for some reason gets upset with doing it, then I will wait until he is ready. But now it is effecting Carter, Carter does all of Trentons guestures and noises and when I ask him to say something....he does the same as Trenton.
Well I got lots of stuff to do around the house today. I have company comming this afternoon.
Oh and on the sign launguage...Trenton learned MORE and AIRPLANE yesterday. GO TRENTON!
